All excited that it's almost New year. New year means new beginnings and I have a lot of things planned for 2016. Like all of you this year got me through the best and the worst. My year was insane and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

Coming to my outfit, nothing attracts me like black and white. Well a pop of colour doesn’t hurt. I absolutely love the simplicity of the dress. This midi dress is more of my style, length wise and colour wise! I love wearing basics and now I planned on turning this basic into something bit dressy. I teamed this with a bright red coloured cape shirt to add the element of colour to this ensemble. Red usually stands out, nothing like a bright red element in your attire. I used the cape shirt as a jacket because that’s my favourite way of wearing a dress. I completed the look with nude brogues and a red bag. I threw on red lipstick to create that edgy look. You could also wear it with denim jacket to create a complete different look and opt for boots. That would be my take on it apart from the current style.

flower power

It's been such a pleasant journey with palanquine boutique and I’m extremely happy to be a part of it. The contemporary clothing from palanquine has always impressed me in all ways, the prints, colours and styles. Their collection instantly uplifts my mood.

I’m very fond of flowers and I like everything floral and this post clearly shows my obsession towards floral prints. I paired the maxi dress with a gold belt and I’m done. Needless to day the dress speaks for itself, it is a very subtle colour and a basic dress with high low ends detailing in the sides. When you have the perfect dress you pretty much don’t need anything to enhance the look, the dress itself is perfection.

Vivid colours

There is always something colorful and happy amidst the mess that we are living in and that is what keeps us going. Likewise, there is something or the other coming up around the whole concept of fashion which makes me going. There are no rules when it comes to style, we tend to create styles everyday and there it is! Something new everyday!

Like most of you I’m an ardent black lover however the color black never failed to impress me all through the years. Nothing gets me like wearing black on black. Sometimes, I mean very rarely black doesn’t work without colors, and that’s when I start to bring the whole concept of colors into my wardrobe. Speaking of which here I am showcasing one of the looks. I paired this cape with a black camisole and a black pant. I wanted everything black to highlight the beauty of the cape. This cape from Palanquine is alluring and also the fabric is so light that I dint even feel a thing when I was wearing it. There is something so fresh about wearing something that has so many colors in it. This cape could be paired in so many ways and can be dressed up or dressed down. Pairing this with a short dress to create that bold and edgy look would be my take on it.
